ReverseMortgageBurlington.ca belongs to Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial (Ontario brokerage licence #11711). The short version of this policy: the website gathers next to nothing about the people who read it.
Information the website gathers
- No forms of any kind. You can't sign up, log in or leave your contact details anywhere on these pages.
- Tools that stay on your device. The Burlington calculator and the 10-question fit check do their work in your own browser. Your answers never leave it and vanish once you navigate away.
- Standard hosting records. The web host, Cloudflare, logs basic technical details like the address of each page requested and the time, for security and to keep pages loading.
The estimate buttons
Clicking a "free estimate" button takes you to a form on reversemortgagebroker.ca, the brokerage's main reverse mortgage site. Its own privacy policy covers whatever you enter there.
The button's link includes a small label naming this website and the page you clicked from. It identifies the page, not the person.
Email, calls and texts
Anything you write or say is used to answer you, and for mortgage help only when you request it. The brokerage protects it under its obligations as a licensed Ontario brokerage and under PIPEDA, the federal privacy law for businesses.
